Stopping traffic near Pierceville, Kansas.
Not the Hutchinson project, but the same company and only a mile from my front door on the way to Hutchinson.

Shaving the Compacted Road Surface. After several passes of mixing and compacting equipment, this operator shaves the compacted surface to the correct elevation in preparation for placement of paving.

Placing Pavement. This machine levels the concrete paving and forms it into a uniform shape.
