Hutchinson, Kansas

Fortunately for Jason & Tara, the Dillon Nature Preserve near Hutchinson, KS came through the previous night's storm with no damage. The tornado sirens had sounded as several super-cell t-storms combined to form a wall cloud that released 80-90 MPH wind in the area.

Susie & Mike, 4-26-2008

Spearfish, South Dakota

Quite the contrast in weather between SW Kansas and Spearfish, South Dakota. Two days before Susie and Mike's wedding I was wearing shorts. It snowed at their wedding!

The Spearfish Canyon Lodge was a fabulous location for a wedding! Giant windows on either side of the Great Room provided excellent light from the overcast sky.
